What is the Contest Entry ID?

The Contest Entry ID is a number that is assigned to each teacher who completes the Teacher Registration Form. You can find your Contest Entry ID at the top of the Teacher Registration Form (circled in blue below):

The Contest Entry ID must be included on the front of each student and teacher entry form. This number is used to match entry forms with the Teacher Registration Form. Entry forms that do not include a Contest Entry ID cannot be judged.

Teachers may submit one entry per student and one teacher entry.

Do entries have to be completed in manuscript or cursive?

Students in grades K-2 must complete their entries in manuscript.

Students in grades 3-8 must complete their entries in cursive.

Teachers must provide samples of both manuscript and cursive. There is space designated for each on the Teacher Entry form.

Should participants use pen or pencil to complete their entries?

Either pen or pencil is acceptable. Pens should be blue or black only.

Please do not complete entries using crayons, colored pencils, or markers.

Why aren’t the dotted lines printing on my entry forms?

When using Google Chrome, the dotted midlines (grades K-5) do not print correctly.  This issue is specific to Google Chrome; the entry forms print correctly in other browsers (Firefox, Explorer, etc.).

If you only have access to Google Chrome, rather than printing directly from the browser, save the file to your computer, open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader, and print from there.
