About the Author
Thomas M. Wasylyk, a nationally recognized authority in handwriting, has
been instrumental in the development of numerous handwriting aids and
courses of instruction. He has authored five handwriting programs as well as
numerous texts and professional articles.
Mr. Wasylyk speaks nationally and conducts workshops for teachers
throughout the country, demonstrating letter forms and teaching strategies.
He is a master penman, having developed many of the alphabets published in
the United States today. He also holds a U.S. Patent for the development of
a process of joining cursive writing.
Mr. Wasylyk has worked in the classroom and has conducted research in
many areas of handwriting, including how handwriting reinforces reading
instruction, and the transition from manuscript to cursive writing. He
brings to this program a wealth of experience in the field of handwriting.
